Friends! On behalf of myself, my staff, Trustees, Friends and our Library Foundation, thank you so much for making the weekend’s big annual Griffin Free Public Library book sale such a tremendous success! My goodness, but you all came through for this our biggest of our library fundraisers and bought so, so many of our gently used books. And THANK YOU to all our dozens of volunteers without whom we couldn’t do this annual tradition.
As a thank you to our wonderful community (that means you!), we have put some of our remainders, odds and ends and this and thats out on our picnic table in front of the library. The books are sorted in boxes according to theme – Fiction, History, Cooking, etc. Normally any left overs would be donated to Goodwill and so forth, but this year we wanted you have have first dibs. Come take them, one box at a time. Seriously. Drive up. Back up to the picnic bench and they are yours. We’ll see you at 22 Hooksett Road.
